Giant Mealworms are approximately 5cm long.

Giant Mealworms are a different species to regular mealworms.

Plump, nutrient rich Pisces Giant Mealworms are a large Tropical mealworm. They provide a large insect food for lizards, spiders, scorpions, frogs, birds, large fish, turtles, poultry and many other animals.

Pisces Giant Mealworms are used by zoos, wildlife sanctuaries, vets, animal rescuers and families to feed their animals.

Giant Mealworms are clean and easily handled. They can be a valuable addition to many animal diets and also used as treats and training rewards. 

Giant Mealworms are a valuable food for all poultry and greatly improve egg-quality in domestic chickens. Giant Mealworms are an ideal source of protein for insectivorous and seed-eating birds; especially during breeding and egg-laying. Ther are suitable for larger birds. Regular Mealworms are probably better for normal chooks. 

Some gardeners believe that feeding wild-birds and wild lizards in their yard, naturally encourages insect foraging behavior to keep the garden clear of pests. Small quantities of Giant Mealworms are a natural treat for visiting wildlife and far superior to mince or raw meat. It is best not to make wild animals completely dependent on offered food.

How to feed 
Feed Giant Mealworms straight from the container or transfer them to a Komodo Smart Live Food Dish or Komodo Mealworm Dish or glass bowl with slippery sides to prevent their escape.
 
Storage
Pisces Giant Mealworm tubs are packed with enough food to last them about one week at normal room temperature. Add extra bran when the Giant Mealworms eat it and add a small slice of carrot.

Giant Mealworms are a Tropical species and must not be refrigerated.
