Large Crickets in Bulk Bags

Suitable for adult chickens, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowl, peacocks and other insect eating animals.

Packed in a calico bag - Feed entire bag to your flock or transfer to bulk insect housing immediately after arrival.

Crickets are a lively insect that provide nutrition and enrichment. Chickens thrive on chasing insects in the wild and our crickets are a valuable addition to their diet of premium chicken layer pellets or mash.

Crickets are a wholesome livefood insect which helps to provide the protein and roughage animals would naturally acquire in nature. They are especially valuable to egg-laying or moulting birds to boost the nutrition in their diet.

Crickets are suitable for bearded dragons, blue tongue lizards, geckos, other reptiles, turtles, chickens, ducks and other poultry, fish such as cichlids, barramundi and oscars, wild birds, spiders, scorpions, millipedes, centipedes and other insect eating animal.

Pisces Crickets are Australia's premium crickets and have been used by zoos, wildlife sanctuaries, breeders, vets, animal-carers and families for over 30 years.

Cricket Care and Storage: Pisces Crickets should be provided with fresh Aquaload and Gutload every few days. These water and food sources should be constantly available to maximize the longevity of the crickets and provide maximum nutrition to your animals.

Gutload is eaten by the crickets and then consumed by your animals before the cricket digests it providing a valuable boost of protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins and minerals in addition to the nutrition in the cricket itself. This makes the crickets "Gutloaded."

For longer storage Pisces Cricket Keepers are ideal. They have handy feeding tubes that the crickets "hide" in which makes them easy to catch and feed out.

Crickets prefer to be between 18 & 25 degrees Celsius. Avoid poisonous fumes, pesticides and cleaning supplies near crickets.

Bulk Pack Care: Bulk packs of crickets should be immediately released into 3-4 Pisces Cricket Keepers or a large, plastic, bulk storage box upon arrival.

Crickets need Gutload, Aquaload and shelter such as Insect Apartments to maximise their shelf-life.

Fluon Insect Barrier is great for painting on the Storage Box to contain the insects.

Please take care when unpacking your Insects. Sometimes other insects decide to enjoy life in our insect grow-rooms. Whilst every care is taken to ensure that no hitchhikers are present in our LiveFood products, sometimes other species will be present. Feel free to contact us if you would like an identification.
